Director of the National Resource Center on LGBT Aging Full-Time  

SAGE is seeking a full-time Director with the energy, initiative and skills to oversee the work of a newly created LGBT Elder National Technical Assistance Resource Center. The National Resource Center is funded by the U.S. Administration on Aging. The objectives of the National Resource Center are: 1) to educate mainstream aging services organizations about the special needs of LGBT elders; 2) to sensitize LGBT organizations about how to effectively address the special needs of older adults; and 3) to educate LGBT older adults about the importance of planning for their long-term needs. While SAGE will function as the lead agency, the National Resource Center is a collaborative effort of ten additional partner organizations across the country with expertise in mainstream aging, LGBT aging, culture change and program evaluation.

Grant Administrator Full-Time  

SAGE is seeking a full-time Grant Administrator for our Development Department. The Grants Administrator will be an integral member of the Development Department and will report directly to the Senior Strategist. The Grants Administrator will be responsible for administration and systems support of grants from foundations and contracts from government that support the work of SAGE. Responsible for working with Institutional Giving team and program staff to produce quality proposals and provide research as needed. The Grants Administrator will be responsible for coordinating and supporting the submission of timely and accurate reports for existing grant projects.

Services and Advocacy for GLBT Elders (SAGE) is the nation's oldest and largest non-profit organization serving and celebrating older members of the LGBT community. Since its founding in 1978, SAGE has developed and provided a wide array of social and community-based services in New York City, including case management, individual and group counseling, some of the nation's first programs dedicated to LGBT older adults living with HIV, and Friendly Visiting for the homebound. In addition, SAGE is a national leader -- providing informational and educational tools to LGBT older people and training and technical assistance to professionals and service providers across the country. Director of Social Services Full-Time  

SAGE (Services and Advocacy for Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender Elders) is the oldest and largest organization in the country working on behalf o f LGBT older people. Headquartered in New York City, SAGE provides social services, offers training and technical assistance, and serves as a national advocacy voice on LGBT aging issues.

SAGE is seeking a full-time Director of Social Services who will oversee and administer the provision of social work and case management services at SAGE. Key activities include providing a social service perspective to Senior Management as well as working collaboratively with staff from other departments within SAGE (including Community, Services, Advocacy, Development and Finance) to enhance programming for the enjoyment, growth and empowerment of LGBT seniors. The Director will report directly to the Senior Director from Programs and works closely with other senior management staff and other program directors.
